Junior Golf Program
|
The Junior Golf Program at Burning Tree is a highlight of the golf season. Thursday mornings we have kids, parents, and grandparents out to the course for six weeks of instruction and golf. We have an exciting year planned for the program with different approaches so each child can get the most out of the program regardless of their skill level. The program is open to member’s children or grandchildren between the ages of 8 to 17. Whether beginner or an experienced player, your child will learn more than just how to swing the club. By taking a focus on the rules of the game and the proper etiquette, we will build a strong foundation that will stay with them throughout their golf lives. |

The program includes clinics, prizes, banquet, the Junior Club Championship, and the Parent/Junior event with prizes for each child. This year we will have stock of junior sets, gloves, and hats in the golf shop. Shoes and clothing will also be available upon request. If you are interested in having a set of clubs or other merchandise ready for the first week of the programs please contact the golf shop at (586)463-3661 or golfshop@burningtreegolf.com so the necessary steps can be taken. All participants in the programs will qualify for merchandise discounts up to 25% off retail. Please stress to your junior golfer the importance of following the dress code. All players including the parents must be appropriately dressed, shirts tucked in, hats in the forward position, & no denim of any sort. Refer to the handbook for dress code rules.
The program will be limited to 90 players. Family memberships and previous participants are give priority. Other players will be accepted if there is room. Fill out the bottom portion and return to the golf shop |
